How To Order Your Repeat Prescription

We only accept telephone orders from our housebound patients or with prior agreement. If you are requesting a repeat prescription early (more than 2 weeks before it is due) tell us why. This will help the doctor can issue it for you without delay. You can order your prescription in the following ways:

  • By using your NHS App
  • By registering for Patient Access and using the repeat prescription ordering service
  • By completing an econsultation form
  • By email to [email protected]
  • In person: Please return the tear off slip from your previous prescription. You should tick the boxes for the required medications. Please put in the repeat prescription box or hand to reception.
  • By post: Please return the tear off slip from your previous prescription. Or write your name, date of birth and the medications needed.

How to raise a query about your medication

  • Complete an econsultation
  • Telephone the surgery on 0113 2951844 or 0113 2954880

Medication reviews

The doctors at the practice review the medication you are taking. You will sometimes be called in for a medication review. This is because it keeps you safe whilst taking medication.

Electronic prescribing

Abbey Grange Medical Practice uses the Electronic Prescribing Service (EPS).

Paper prescriptions are no longer issued. Your GP sends the prescription direct to your chosen Pharmacy.

You can find more information on the EPS website.

To change your nominated pharmacy is easy. You can log into Patient Access  (including the NHS App), talk to a pharmacy or ask at reception.
