CHANGE OF CLINICAL IT SYSTEM

Posted by: amandamcdermott - Posted on:

We are currently working towards changing our clinical IT system which is due to take place on Monday 15th July when our practice will then be using ‘SystmOne’. There are a few important points for patient’s to be aware of:

Online services will be disrupted during the changeover period. We are currently awaiting clear instruction on how to get patient’s online accounts up and running again. Patient’s using the ‘Patient Access’ platform need to be aware that this is linked to our old clinical system and will not work once we have changed to SystmOne. We will be contacting patients with instruction about how to get online accounts up and running once the new system has gone live. This may take a little while after the new system is in place. You do not need to contact the practice about this.

Between 5th July & 15th July, all prescriptions will be printed as we will not be able to send them electronically to your nominated pharmacy.

Please be aware that due to the disruption to online services, our telephone lines will be busier than usual & all our team will be getting used to working with a new IT system –  Please be patient with us!

Patient arrival screens (otherwise known as self check-in screens) will not be working for at least 2 week after our system change. Please check in at the reception desks.

Online consultations (otherwise known as e-consultations) will continue as normal

Thank you for your patience and understanding during this time.
